Day 61

*Sorry it's late*

Halloween was actually pretty fun at Richmond.  We got brunch at noon, and the cafeteria was still decorated and themed which made everything festive.  After brunch we then decided to take a walk t the Hamm House, a house that our previously teacher had told us about. It was about 2 miles away, so we followed the River Thames and eventually found it. The walk was so beautiful because the weather was nice and the leaves were falling and changing colors and it actually looked like fall. The Hamm House wasn't anything special. It was just a big house that had gardens and horses outside of it, and there was some special event going on so we couldn't go inside. It made for a nice picture, though. We walked back and then finished up our homework due on Monday for this new teacher. So far, the new teacher doesn't seem to be nice. After that, we all put on our makeshift costumes. I wore my new Van Gogh t-shirt, Emelia wore a mask she bought in Venice, my roommate put on a pink dress and called herself Barbie, and Emelia's roommate came home from Italy just last night and wore a pair of devil horns. It was cheesy, since we didn't go anywhere, but we took pictures. We then used this website deliveroo which delivers local food even if the place itself doesn't do take out. We ordered Tortilla, and all got burritos and nachos which made for a good night. Then we all went to Emelia's room, set up the movies on her laptop, and spent the rest of the evening and part of the morning watching the four Halloweentown movies. I wish I could have given out candy at Mamma's, but this was the next best thing to do :D
